Live Portrait Sketches

I create live sketches in pencil, using quick and confident lines, resulting in an illustrative quality that is more realistic than exaggerated. It is my privilege to capture Chicago’s many unique smiles and personalities, at a variety of events, inclunding the Museum of Science and Industry Member’s Night, Lycee Francais French Market, Ravenswood ArtWalk, and Andersonville Arts Weekend.

Portrait Studies

People are my favorite subject. I regularly practice and expand my life drawing studies at the Palette and Chisel Academy of Fine Arts. I enjoy working in graphite, oil and watercolor.
