The Ladydrawers Comics Collective is showcasing a slew of original drawings from their first book collection, THREADBARE: Clothes, Sex and Trafficking. The book will be not be released until May of 2016, however, this exhibit provides a close up preview of over 25 pages by artist Delia Jean, which illustrate the writing and reporting of award winning author and journalist Anne Elizabeth Moore.
The exhibit highlights themes of the book such as gender, labor and cultural production while also providing a glimpse into the process of creating comics for print.
